Gan Shabbat is a special opportunity to bring together tots, big kids and their parents for a Shabbat morning service in a family-friendly setting. Gan literally means “garden” and when used in relation to education, this Hebrew word often refers to younger children.
This service, specially designed for children pre-K – 2nd grades, along with their families, meet every Shabbat morning. It begins at 10:45 am and concludes around 12:00 pm. After Gan Shabbat, all participants are encouraged to join the Congregational Kiddush.
Gan Shabbat is coordinated by Rabbi Debbie Cohen and the services will be led by Judy Lapidis.
